Pakistan’s Judiciary Accuses ISI of Intimidation
Six senior Pakistani judges have accused the country’s influential spy agency of meddling in judicial affairs, alleging “intimidatory” actions such as clandestine surveillance, and even abduction and torture of their relatives. The judges complain letter was made public on Tuesday evening. They urged the Supreme Judicial Council, Pakistan’s judicial oversight body, to investigate officials associated with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for this.
