NORTH KOREA CONDUCTS LATEST ICBM TEST AMID RISING REGIONAL TENSIONS

North Korea recently displayed another intercontinental ballistic missile latest in a series tested this year. This missile test took place on October 30, amid heightened tension in the region as its neighbors and the international community increasingly voiced their alarm at the displays. Both Japan and South Korea have condemned the tests and have urged a coordinated defence, asking Pyongyang to end the provocative moves. The United Nations has expressed its concern about the repeated missile activities by North Korea, violating several international sanctions.

GERMANY ORDERS CLOSURE OF IRANIAN CONSULATES
The government of Germany declared the shutting down of Iran’s consulates in several cities in the country following the recent execution of Iranian-German national Jamshid Sharmahd. Berlin described Tehran’s actions as an act of severe escalation against the country in diplomatic tension.
