Police Arrests Protesters At Columbia Campus

On Tuesday, over 100 protesters were detained at Columbia University and City College of New York, as reported by a law enforcement official. The majority of arrests occurred at Columbia, where approximately two dozen protesters allegedly attempted to obstruct officers from entering the campus. Tactical teams established a perimeter around Columbia to contain protesters and subsequently entered the campus through various access points.

The revised State Secrets Law mandates firms, including Tencent, ByteDance, and Weibo, to take measures against the dissemination of sensitive content by users. “Network operators” are required to monitor user-shared information, remove posts according to specified criteria, and maintain records, reporting them to authorities.
