INDIA IMPOSES THREE-PRONGED BAN ON PAKISTAN

In response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, India has imposed a sweeping three-pronged ban on Pakistan. All imports from Pakistan have been halted immediately under national security concerns. Additionally, Pakistani-flagged ships are now barred from docking at Indian ports, and all physical mail and parcel exchanges have been suspended. These actions follow Pakistan’s provocative missile test amid heightened tensions. The moves come days after India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty and revoked most Pakistani visas. Prime Minister Modi affirmed India’s commitment to decisive anti-terrorism action, with full operational freedom granted to armed forces.

It marked their first encounter since a tense exchange during Trump’s White House tenure. Zelensky, speaking to a select group of journalists under embargo, stated, “We’ll see. That’s his vision, his choice,” expressing cautious optimism about Trump’s evolving stance on Ukraine. This initiative reflects intensified espionage efforts amid rising U.S.–China tensions.

INDIA’S SATELLITES ‘DOGFIGHT’ IN SPACE

India has achieved a major milestone in space technology with two indigenous satellites performing a “dogfight” maneuver in low Earth orbit, demonstrating autonomous close-range coordination akin to aerial combat. Part of ISRO’s SPADEX mission, this initiative showcases advanced docking, undocking, and power-sharing between satellites, enhancing future mission capabilities. The satellites, traveling at 28,800 km/h, performed complex proximity operations using minimal fuel—an achievement in orbital efficiency. With successful docking demonstrations earlier this year, India joins an elite club of nations mastering satellite docking. Experts hail the effort as a step toward greater self-reliance in space innovation and strategic preparedness.
