India Denies Report on Ammunition Diversion to Ukraine, Calls It ‘Speculative’
The Indian government dismissed a report claiming artillery shells sold by Indian arms makers were diverted to Ukraine through European buyers. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal called the report “speculative and misleading,” emphasizing India’s strong compliance with international export regulations. He reiterated that India follows a strict legal framework, ensuring end-user obligations and certifications are met.

EU Backs Ukraine’s Call to Use Western Arms Against Russia
The European Parliament passed a non-binding resolution urging EU countries to allow Ukraine to use Western weapons to strike military targets inside Russia. Kyiv has requested permission to target Russian air bases involved in attacks on Ukraine. The resolution passed with 425 votes in favor, 131 against, and 63 abstentions, prompting a strong reaction from Moscow.
