NATO dismissed Macron’s suggestion on deploying troops to Ukraine
On Tuesday, the United States and major European allies clarified that they had no intentions of deploying ground troops to Ukraine, following France’s suggestion of such a possibility. The Kremlin cautioned that any such deployment would likely result in conflict between Russia and NATO. The concern of Russian and NATO troops facing off will lead to disastrous escalation sucking Europe into a war it has not seen since World War 2.

Tensions escalate along the Lebanon border as Hezbollah and Israel exchange attacks
Tensions heightened as Hezbollah and Israel traded strikes along the Israel-Lebanon border. Hezbollah, aligned with Iran, claimed on Tuesday to have launched a “large volley” at the Meron base in northern Israel. Shortly after, reports emerged of Israeli airstrikes in various towns across southern Lebanon.
