Germany Arrests Three Persons Spying For China
In Germany, three individuals have been detained on suspicion of espionage for China, while two individuals face charges for similar offenses in the UK. The Federal Prosecutor’s Office in Germany disclosed that the suspects, two men and a woman, allegedly breached the Foreign Trade and Payments Act. They are believed to have had connections with a Chinese secret service dating back to before June 2022.
Hamas Wants To Disarm?
Recent indications from Hamas leaders have suggested it can consider disarming itself. This has been conditional based on Israel returning the original Palestinian territory as per the status before the 1967 war. It is also attributed to the immense pressure Israel has put on this group which till recently had a complete control over Gaza.
