MUSK WARNS BANKRUPTCY

Elon Musk has sounded the alarm over Donald Trump’s newly passed “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” claiming it will bankrupt the United States. The bill extends 2017 tax cuts, raises the SALT deduction cap, slashes green tech incentives, and bypasses budget safeguards. According to the Congressional Budget Office, it could add $2.4 to $3 trillion to the national debt over a decade. With debt already over $34 trillion, experts warn interest payments could soon outpace all other government spending. Musk dubbed it the “Debt Slavery Bill,” criticising the lack of fiscal restraint and the bill’s long-term economic consequences.

ORACLE WARNED, DALAI LAMA ESCAPED

On his 90th birthday, a powerful story from 1959 resurfaces—how a Tibetan mystic’s prophecy helped the 14th Dalai Lama escape Chinese forces. At age 23, uncertain whether to negotiate or flee, the Dalai Lama turned to the State Oracle for guidance. After three readings, the Oracle urgently advised escape. That same night, Chinese troops attacked his residence, the Norbulingka palace. Disguised in a soldier’s uniform, he fled across the Himalayas with his inner circle and reached India on March 31. Prime Minister Nehru granted him asylum, and he later established the Tibetan government-in-exile in Dharamshala.

STRANDED F-35 TO BE DISMANTLED

A British F-35B fighter jet remains grounded at Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram airport after a hydraulic failure halted its return flight. The advanced aircraft, which made an emergency landing on June 14, will now be partially dismantled and airlifted back to the UK aboard a C-17 Globemaster. Lockheed Martin engineers will detach critical components like the wings to fit the aircraft into the cargo plane. The process is delicate, requiring meticulous documentation to prevent data breaches. With the British military overseeing operations, this marks the first time an F-35 has been stranded in a foreign nation due to technical issues.

RUSSIA POUNDS KYIV WITH DRONES

Kyiv endured one of the largest aerial attacks since the war began, with Russia launching 550 drones and missiles overnight. At least 23 people were injured, 14 hospitalized, and widespread damage was reported across eight districts. Ukrainian forces downed 478 drones and missiles, but debris struck homes, schools, railways, and medical facilities. Fires caused a sharp decline in air quality. President Zelenskyy condemned the “deliberately massive and cynical” attack, linking its timing to a Trump-Putin phone call. He urged the U.S. to increase sanctions on Russia, warning that without large-scale pressure, Moscow will escalate its aggression further.

NVIDIA NEARS $4 TRILLION VALUATION

Nvidia has surged to a near-record $3.92 trillion market valuation, briefly overtaking Apple as the most valuable company in history. The AI chipmaker’s shares peaked at $160.98 before dipping slightly, closing just below the record mark. Investor confidence soared following strong U.S. payroll data and bullish forecasts for AI-driven demand. Analysts say Nvidia’s rise reflects sustained momentum in the AI revolution, defying predictions of a tech slowdown. With a valuation now greater than Spain and Italy’s entire stock markets combined, Nvidia appears poised to break and hold the all-time record soon, driven by continued investment in AI technologies.
